All the latest information about rates and availability are on my services page.
-
I don’t do free test projects or sample articles, but I’m always happy to work on a one-off project first to make sure it’s a good fit for us both!
-
Most of my clients work with me on a monthly retainer basis, and I’m lucky to have worked with many for 1-2+ years.
If your budget is changeable or a retainer isn’t for you, that’s okay! We can still work together on a per-piece basis. 😊
-
Once I have a brief, I typically turn around a publish-ready first draft within 5-7 days.
-
Most of the time I work async, and beyond an initial video call (if you’d like one, it’s totally optional!) most communication happens via email.
Async is my preferred way of catching up, as I find it way easier to articulate my thoughts in words.
If you’re looking for a content partner that offers regular calls or attends weekly team meetings, you might find someone else matches your needs better. 💛
-
Most clients pay via bank transfer, but I can also accept card payments.
-
Sure thing! A lot of my work is ghostwritten — including 99% of the work I’ve done for high-end content agencies.
-
I only work with a handful of companies at a time, and I’m grateful to enjoy long-term partnerships with my clients — BUT I always leave space open in my schedule for new projects. 💛

The introvert in me is crying, but here are some good reasons to work with me (vs. another writer or an agency):
I’m reliable — I’ll actually complete the work and deliver it by the deadline
I’m easy to work with — I don’t need handholding, nudging, or chasing
I read (and follow) your brief + brand guidelines — because they’re important
I deliver publish-ready work — you don’t have to request major revisions or go through rounds of edits
I care about your success — your project isn’t just a number on a sheet, I actually care about the end result
I’m here for the long haul — I normally work with clients for years, and will celebrate your success even if we have to part ways due to budget or senior management decisions 😭
I have a hard time talking myself up (who doesn’t?!) but if it sounds like we’d be a good match I’d love to hear from you!
“Nicola is a smart, communicative, and overall wonderful writer to work with. Her punctuality and organization skills make her dependable as a freelancer and coworker, and she made my job as an editor easy!
